A very early 16 bore John Manton flintlock circa 1795 full stocked duelling pistol with octagonal barrel marked ‘London’ on the flat of the barrel, the lock is marked ‘Manton’, there is a silver escutcheon behind the tang with an engraved stag’s head the number 3, it bears no other number. Overall length: 12in
