64pdr RML
 
64pdr RML coastal defence gun on its original wrought iron carriage, serial number: 414, designed by Sir William Armstrong and manufactured in 1868 at Woolwich.
 
This rifled muzzle loader reappeared in South Carolina having been brought from Ascension Island.
 
The gun on its original carriage was bought by John Slough and has now been fully restored to its original glory with fully working elevation and traversing gear. It was featured in an article in the London Antique Arms Fair guide in 2010, Pg 28
 
This gun and carriage are unique in that they are the only ones ever to be offered for sale.
